Most models in stock run a 20" pad; the models that list speed run at 1,500–2,000 RPM. Battery-powered walk-behinds cut the cord for large open floor plans and multi-room routes. Corded 1.5 HP DC electric units (Mercury Ultra D.C.) cost less up front and never need a charge cycle.
