Product description

The SC500 20D is the machine most facilities buy when they need real scrubbing productivity out of a unit that still fits through a standard doorway and down a stocked aisle. It runs a 20 inch disc deck off 12 gallon solution and recovery tanks and scrubs continuously for up to 5 hours on a charge, which covers a full night shift in a school wing, a clinic floor or a mid-size grocery without a refill trip. Its defining trait is noise: normal mode measures 63 dB and Quiet Mode drops it to 60 dB, low enough to run the machine during business hours in a lobby, a hotel corridor or a patient area instead of paying a night crew. A two-key system separates the yellow Superuser key, which unlocks adjustable cleaning parameters for the manager, from the grey operator key, which just starts the machine and cuts training time to nothing. The SmartFlow system regulates solution output against machine speed so the tank lasts longer and the floor stays consistent, and the optional EcoFlex system layers on variable or water-only detergent dosing. This configuration ships with two 105 Ah wet batteries, an onboard charger and a pad holder.

  • 20 inch (50.8 cm) disc scrub path with a 26.5 inch squeegee, rated for up to 24552 sq ft/hr theoretical productivity.
  • 12 gallon solution and 12 gallon recovery tanks with continuous running time of up to 5 hours between charges.
  • Quiet Mode drops sound output to 60 dB A from a 63 dB A normal mode, so the machine can run in occupied lobbies, corridors and patient areas during the day.
  • Two-key access control: the yellow Superuser key unlocks adjustable cleaning parameters, the grey operator key only starts the machine, which keeps settings from drifting shift to shift.
  • SmartFlow technology varies solution output with machine speed to stretch tank life and hold consistent results; optional EcoFlex system adds variable or water-only detergent dosing.
  • Pressure-sensitive variable-speed control paddle drives the traction system, so operators set their own comfortable pace rather than fighting a fixed-speed machine.
  • Selectable 33 lb or 66 lb brush down-pressure at 155 RPM covers everything from routine maintenance scrubbing to heavy soil load.
  • 29.9 in H2O water lift through a 280 W vacuum motor pulls the floor dry behind the squeegee in a single pass.
  • Squeegee raises and lowers by foot and the drain hose is squeezable with flow control, so a single operator services the machine without kneeling or tools.
  • 183 lb dry weight without batteries in this non-EcoFlex configuration and a 20.9 inch body width keep it maneuverable in stocked aisles and through standard doorways.

Receiving — do not sign clean

Weight without batteries183 lb (83 kg) without EcoFlex / 187.4 lb (85 kg) with EcoFlex
  1. Count the pieces against the bill of lading before the driver leaves. A machine, its batteries and its accessories can ship as separate items.
  2. Walk the pallet. Check the shrink-wrap, the crate corners and the machine itself — forks go through crates more often than anyone admits.
  3. Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.
  4. Write the damage on the delivery receipt. A clean signature on a damaged pallet is what makes a freight claim hard. Then call 1-888-287-3732 the same day.
