What LTL freight means
LTL (less-than-truckload) is how machines from 200 to 800 lb travel. Your machine is bolted and strapped to a wooden pallet, wrapped, and loaded on a freight truck. Freight is free to any US address with no order minimum. No dock or forklift on site? Tell us when you order and we confirm liftgate delivery with the carrier before the truck is booked, so the pallet comes down to ground level.
The delivery, step by step
- We confirm your order and ship date. You get the tracking and carrier details by email as soon as the machine leaves the warehouse.
- The carrier calls you. Freight is delivered by appointment. The carrier phones to book a delivery window that works for you. Nothing shows up unannounced.
- The truck arrives and your pallet comes off. Curbside or as close as the truck can safely get. With a liftgate the pallet lowers to the ground; from there it rolls on a pallet jack or walks off the pallet.
- Inspect before you sign. Count the pieces. Look for punctures, crushed corners, bent parts. Note ANY damage in writing on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves. This one habit protects you.
- Unbox and go. Cut the straps, roll the machine off, keep the paperwork.
