The Wide Track SC899H is the SC886G with a 16 inch path — 33% more floor per pass, which is the whole argument in a school corridor, a church hall or an open office where the labour, not the machine, is the cost. Same 7 amp 840 W motor and 145 CFM, same chrome hood, same 18 quart shake-out bag and 50 foot pigtail cord, same Quick Kleen fan chamber for clearing clogs without a service call. It weighs 17 lb. If the building is mostly open floor, this is the one that pays; if it is mostly furniture and tight corners, the 12 inch SC886G turns better.
