Product description
The Pivot EBG-28 is the wide-body version of the Pivot platform, built for crews prepping large open floor plates — school corridors, gymnasiums, big-box retail, warehouse breakrooms — where a 20" head means too many passes. The 14" x 28" head covers 40% more floor per pass at the same 3450 oscillations per minute, and eight vibration isolators (double the 20" model) keep operator fatigue down over a full shift. It dry-strips old finish off VCT without chemical stripper, screens and preps wood gym floors ahead of recoat, deep-scrubs tile and grout, and hones concrete. Amp draw is still only 9.6 amps at 115V, so it stays on standard building power. Choose this over the 20" when open square footage, not doorway access, is the constraint.
- 14" x 28" rectangular orbital head — 40% more coverage per pass than the 20" head at the same 3450 oscillations per minute.
- 1.5 HP 3450 RPM motor draws 9.6 amps at 115V and still runs on standard building circuits.
- Eight low-profile vibration isolators (twice the 20" model) to cut operator fatigue on long open-floor runs.
- Pivoting head releases the handle from the base so the full pad tracks uneven and dished floor slabs.
- 117 lb base weight with removable slotted weights to a 197 lb operating weight for down-pressure control.
- 7-gauge stainless steel base and 10-gauge powder-coated steel frame with 3/4" solid steel axle.
- Chemical-free dry stripping on VCT, screening on wood gym floors, tile-and-grout scrubbing and concrete honing from one head.
- 50 ft 14-gauge cord with integrated cord wrap and lighted plug; adjustable handle with trigger control.
- 69 dB operating sound permits daytime work in occupied facilities; dust containment kit included.
- Sealed bearing assembly; UL/CSA/CE certified; optional HEPA dry vac kit, hour meter and two-piece removable handle.
Receiving — do not sign clean
- Count the pieces against the bill of lading before the driver leaves. A machine, its batteries and its accessories can ship as separate items.
- Walk the pallet. Check the shrink-wrap, the crate corners and the machine itself — forks go through crates more often than anyone admits.
- Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.
- Write the damage on the delivery receipt. A clean signature on a damaged pallet is what makes a freight claim hard. Then call 1-888-287-3732 the same day.
