Product description
The ES400 XLP is the self-contained extractor for buildings that have to keep carpet in service and cannot close a floor for a day to dry it. It runs an 18 inch floating brush head off 12 gallons of solution with a 120 PSI pump, and the whole point of the machine is that one unit does two jobs: an interim low-moisture mode at 0.17 gal/min for encapsulation-style maintenance cleaning that dries fast enough to reopen an office or corridor quickly, and a restorative mode at 0.7 gal/min for deep annual work. A 1.5 hp three-stage vacuum pulling 120 inches of water lift through a 20.75 inch shoe is what makes the fast dry-down real rather than marketing. The handle flips so the operator can pull the machine as well as push it, which matters in cubicle rows, hotel corridors and under-desk areas where turning around is not an option. At 118 lb with a 50 foot cord and corded power, there is no runtime limit and no battery program to manage.
- 18 inch (46 cm) floating brush head self-adjusts to the carpet without manual height setting.
- Two distinct cleaning modes on one dial: interim low-moisture at 0.17 gal/min for fast-drying maintenance cleaning and restorative at 0.7 gal/min for deep extraction.
- 12 gallon solution and 10 gallon recovery tanks let an operator work a large floor plate without constant dump-and-fill trips.
- 120 PSI solution pump drives detergent into the pile rather than laying it on the surface.
- 1.5 hp three-stage vacuum motor with 120 in water lift through a 20.75 inch vacuum shoe is what shortens dry-down and reopens the space sooner.
- Flip handle allows push or pull operation, so the machine works in cubicle rows and corridors where a turnaround is impossible.
- Corded 50 ft power cable means unlimited run time and no battery or charging program to manage.
- 118 lb operating weight and a 22.75 inch body width keep it manageable for a single operator and through standard doorways.
- 68 dB A sound level allows use in occupied office space during business hours.
- 29.25 inch minimum machine length and 35.25 inch tank height fit standard janitor closets and service elevators.
Receiving — do not sign clean
- Count the pieces against the bill of lading before the driver leaves. A machine, its batteries and its accessories can ship as separate items.
- Walk the pallet. Check the shrink-wrap, the crate corners and the machine itself — forks go through crates more often than anyone admits.
- Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.
- Write the damage on the delivery receipt. A clean signature on a damaged pallet is what makes a freight claim hard. Then call 1-888-287-3732 the same day.
