Product description

The Lo-Boy is the Hercules drivetrain repackaged for buildings where noise and clearance are the constraint: hospitals, schools in session, hotels and occupied offices. The gearbox sits under the apron rather than above it, which drops the machine profile so it slides under beds, desks and fixed seating, and drops the operating noise to what the manufacturer calls hospital-quiet. It still runs the same 1.5 HP 66-frame A/C motor and triple-planetary transmission at 175 RPM, so it strips and scrubs as hard as a standard rotary. Retractable 6 in wheels drop for transport and lift out of the way when the pad goes down. Same 5-year motor, transmission and chassis warranty.

  • Gearbox mounted under the apron gives a low machine profile that reaches under beds, desks and fixed seating.
  • Ultra-quiet operation intended for occupied healthcare, education and hospitality spaces.
  • Precision-balanced 1.5 HP 66-frame A/C motor, 13-15 amp draw, on a triple-planetary high-torque transmission.
  • 175 RPM for spray buffing, scrubbing, stripping, shampooing and bonnet cleaning with one machine.
  • Takes an 18 in rotary brush or a 19 in pad driver with riser on the 20 in apron; easy B/92 style brush mounting.
  • All-metal polished reinforced apron and metal chassis add pad pressure for a brighter, longer-lasting shine.
  • 6 in non-marking RETRACTABLE wheels — down for transport, up and out of the way while cleaning.
  • Safety interlock switch and non-conductive dual triggers on a 48 in fully adjustable handle.
  • Super-thick non-marking bumper protects walls and baseboards in tight corridors.
  • One 50 ft 14/3-gauge safety power cord, motor plugs in at the handle base. Ships at 103 lbs; 230-volt version available.

Receiving — do not sign clean

Shipping Weight103 lbs
  1. Count the pieces against the bill of lading before the driver leaves. A machine, its batteries and its accessories can ship as separate items.
  2. Walk the pallet. Check the shrink-wrap, the crate corners and the machine itself — forks go through crates more often than anyone admits.
  3. Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.
  4. Write the damage on the delivery receipt. A clean signature on a damaged pallet is what makes a freight claim hard. Then call 1-888-287-3732 the same day.
