Product description
The Versamatic HEPA 18 is the wide-path upright for buildings where carpet life and indoor air quality both have to be defended. The dual-motor design separates brush drive from suction, so the beater bar keeps agitating pile at full speed while the vacuum motor pulls 117 CFM at 92 inches of water lift rather than the two robbing each other. HEPA-grade filtration keeps what it lifts inside the machine instead of blowing it back into the room, which matters in schools, clinics and offices with air-quality requirements. An 18-inch path and a 40-foot cord cover 3881 sq ft/hr with fewer outlet changes per corridor. At 24 pounds it is a machine a housekeeper can carry up a stairwell.
- 18-inch cleaning path clears 3881 sq ft/hr, cutting passes per corridor against a standard 12-14 inch upright.
- Dual-motor design drives the brush roll and the suction separately, so agitation does not fall off as the machine loads.
- 117 CFM of airflow at 92 inches of water lift, enough to pull embedded grit out of commercial-grade loop pile.
- HEPA-grade filtration standard, keeping fine dust and allergens captured rather than exhausted back into occupied space.
- 1.4-gallon disposable fleece filter bag capacity, so bag changes are infrequent and dust is contained during disposal.
- 40-foot power cord covers long corridors and open floors with fewer outlet changes per run.
- 70 dB(A) sound level, quiet enough for daytime vacuuming in offices, classrooms and patient areas.
- 24-pound machine weight, light enough for a single housekeeper to carry between floors and up stairwells.
- Quick-connect extension hose and crevice tool accessories available for edge, stair and upholstery work.
- Replaceable brush strip and easy-access exhaust filter keep routine service to consumables rather than shop time.
Receiving — do not sign clean
- Count the pieces against the bill of lading before the driver leaves. A machine, its batteries and its accessories can ship as separate items.
- Walk the pallet. Check the shrink-wrap, the crate corners and the machine itself — forks go through crates more often than anyone admits.
- Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.
- Write the damage on the delivery receipt. A clean signature on a damaged pallet is what makes a freight claim hard. Then call 1-888-287-3732 the same day.
