Product description
The G2 Raptor is the chemical-free stripping answer for facilities that cannot flood a floor with stripper or shut a building down for a wet strip-out. An eccentric balanced orbital drive moves a 20 x 14 inch rectangular pad at 1740 RPM — roughly ten times the pad speed of a rotary — so finish comes off mechanically, wet or dry. The rectangular head is the practical difference from a disc machine: it reaches square into corners and runs flat along baseboards, so there is far less edge work left behind. Four primary industrial vibration isolators plus a 194 lb chassis keep operator fatigue down on long runs, and an optional active vacuum kit converts it to a dust-controlled dry stripper. At 9 amps it stays on a standard building circuit.
- Eccentric balanced orbital drive turns the pad at 1740 RPM — about ten times the pad speed of a rotary machine — for chemical-free finish removal.
- 20 in x 14 in rectangular head reaches into corners and runs flat along baseboards, cutting the hand edge-work a round machine leaves behind.
- 1.5 HP 180-frame TEFC dual-capacitor AC motor on 115-230V 60 Hz, 9.0 amp draw — runs on a standard building circuit.
- 194 lb machine weight delivers 0.657 lb per square inch of pad pressure without add-on weights.
- Four primary industrial vibration isolators plus a 2 in isolator-mounted handle carriage keep hand-arm vibration and operator fatigue down.
- Works wet or dry: dry stripping, scrubbing, sanding and stone polishing off the same head.
- Milled dust-control connector on the head; optional Active Vacuum Kit (#TH1011-RAP) adds a 6 quart tank vac, dust skirt and hoses for dust-controlled dry stripping.
- Optional 2.5 gallon handle-mounted solution tank (#A001-RAPBLK 2.5) and 20 x 14 orbital scrub brush (#A0076-2014).
- Heavy-duty steel handle with adjustable lock, dual steel operating triggers, thumb-operated safety switch, 2 in x 8 in non-marking ball-bearing wheels.
- 50 ft 12-3 two-piece industrial cord with cord lock; 66 dB average operation, meets GS42; UL/CUL listed.
Receiving — do not sign clean
- Count the pieces against the bill of lading before the driver leaves. A machine, its batteries and its accessories can ship as separate items.
- Walk the pallet. Check the shrink-wrap, the crate corners and the machine itself — forks go through crates more often than anyone admits.
- Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.
- Write the damage on the delivery receipt. A clean signature on a damaged pallet is what makes a freight claim hard. Then call 1-888-287-3732 the same day.
