Common questions
Does this actually eliminate odors or just cover them up?
It eliminates. Most air fresheners use synthetic fragrance to overpower the smell -- the source is still there, so the odor returns within hours. No.05 uses plant-derived neutralizing agents that break down odor molecules at the source. When the smell is gone, it stays gone. No perfume residue, no chemical haze.
Is it safe to use in kitchens and food-prep areas?
Yes. The formula contains 0% VOCs, chlorine, petroleum solvents, and artificial fragrances -- all the things that make conventional air fresheners a problem near food. Spray it in commercial kitchens, break rooms, cafeterias, and food courts without contamination risk. Check the SDS for full ingredient documentation.
Why not just use Febreze or an aerosol can?
Aerosol air fresheners release VOCs and propellant chemicals into the air your staff and customers breathe. Studies have found up to 530 VOCs in common cleaning and air care products, 193 classified as hazardous. No.05 is a pump-spray liquid with zero propellants and zero VOCs. It also costs a fraction per spray compared to aerosol cans -- roughly $0.02 per spray from the 4 L jug versus $0.08-0.15 from a typical aerosol.
How many sprays do I get from one jug?
A standard trigger sprayer delivers approximately 3 mL per pull. From the 4 L jug, that's roughly 1,333 sprays. For a single-bathroom office freshened twice daily, that's over a year of supply. For a multi-room facility, it depends on frequency, but even at 20 sprays per day you're looking at two full months from one jug.
Does 'plant-derived' mean the scent is weak or fades fast?
No. Plant-derived describes the ingredient source, not the potency. The formula was developed in the same Montreal lab that produces commercial-grade degreasers and facility cleaners. It neutralizes odors on contact -- you don't need a strong lingering scent because the bad smell is actually gone, not masked. What you're left with is clean, neutral air.
