Product description

The Hercules Sealed Sander is engineered for hard-floor finishing work that would choke a standard rotary: sanding wood and grinding stone or concrete. This 17 in apron build carries the same 1.5 HP 66-frame A/C motor and triple-planetary transmission as the standard Hercules at 175 RPM, but with sealed bearings that keep sanding and grinding dust out of the motor for a longer service life. The 16 in pad driver with riser ships included; add the matching heavy-duty sand paper driver and optional vacuum dust kit for dust-free sanding.

Sealed-bearing 1.5 HP 66-frame A/C motor protects against sanding and grinding dust for longer motor life.
Triple-planetary high-torque transmission at 175 RPM handles wood sanding and stone/concrete grinding.
16 in pad driver with riser and 92 clutch plate included.
All-metal polished aluminum apron and chassis; non-marking super-thick bumper.
Safety interlock switch plus non-conductive dual triggers; 48 in fully adjustable handle.
6 in non-marking fixed operating wheels; one 50 ft 14/3-gauge safety power cord.
Optional 12TV027 vacuum sanding kit (hoses, port and skirt) picks up dust as you sand.

This machine does not recover its own solution (READ FIRST)A rotary floor machine scrubs; it does not pick up. Every wet job needs a wet/dry vacuum or an auto-scrubber behind it to remove the slurry before it dries back onto the floor.
Neutral floor cleaner (scrub and recoat prep)Routine deep scrub of sealed or finished floors. Pad: RED (light) or BLUE (general) at 17 in. Dilute per label and keep the floor wet — a rotary at 175 RPM burns a dry floor.
Heavy-duty degreaser (alkaline)Kitchens, shops and heavy traffic film. Pad: GREEN (heavy scrub). Rinse and neutralize after a high-alkaline product before any finish is applied.
Floor stripper (finish removal)The job this machine is best at. Pad: BLACK (aggressive strip) at 17 in. Flood, dwell, scrub, then wet-vac the slurry, rinse and neutralize before recoating.
Floor finish / sealerApplied separately by mop or applicator after the strip, never through the machine.

What training is required to run this machine?

How does freight delivery actually work?

You get tracking and carrier details by email when it leaves the warehouse. A machine that travels on a pallet is delivered by appointment: the carrier phones to book a window. Freight is free on orders $500+ to the lower 48. Full guide: how freight delivery works.

Write the damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it before the driver leaves, then call us the same day. We file the claim with the carrier, not you.

What warranty does it carry?

Can I return it?

Call us within 30 days of delivery if the machine is not right for your facility and we arrange the return with the manufacturer.
