Product description

The Hercules is Mercury's super heavy-duty single-disc floor machine for stripping, scrubbing, spray buffing, shampooing and bonnet cleaning. This 13 in apron build runs a precision-balanced 1.5 HP 66-frame A/C motor with a triple-planetary high-torque transmission at 175 RPM, so the pad keeps turning under a stripper load. The all-metal polished aluminum chassis adds the deadweight that makes stripping cut and buffing shine, and the apron ships ready to run with a 12 in pad driver and riser included — order the 11 in rotary brush separately for scrub and strip work.

Precision-balanced 1.5 HP 66-frame A/C motor, 15 amp draw, on a triple-planetary high-torque transmission.
175 RPM brush speed for stripping, scrubbing, spray buffing, shampooing and bonnet cleaning.
12 in pad driver with riser and 92 clutch plate included; scrub with a 11 in rotary brush (order separately).
All-metal polished aluminum apron and chassis add weight for a faster, longer-lasting, brighter finish.
Safety interlock switch plus non-conductive dual triggers keep both hands on the handle.
48 in fully adjustable handle; non-marking super-thick bumper protects walls and baseboards.
6 in non-marking fixed operating wheels; one 50 ft 14/3-gauge safety power cord, motor unplugs at the handle base.
Accepts the optional SST-4 4-gallon solution tank and UWK unicorn weight kit for stone and marble restoration. 230-volt version available.

Count the pieces against the bill of lading before the driver leaves. A machine, its batteries and its accessories can ship as separate items.
Walk the pallet. Check the shrink-wrap, the crate corners and the machine itself — forks go through crates more often than anyone admits.
Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.

This machine does not recover its own solution (READ FIRST)A rotary floor machine scrubs; it does not pick up. Every wet job needs a wet/dry vacuum or an auto-scrubber behind it to remove the slurry before it dries back onto the floor.
Neutral floor cleaner (scrub and recoat prep)Routine deep scrub of sealed or finished floors. Pad: RED (light) or BLUE (general) at 13 in. Dilute per label and keep the floor wet — a rotary at 175 RPM burns a dry floor.
Heavy-duty degreaser (alkaline)Kitchens, shops and heavy traffic film. Pad: GREEN (heavy scrub). Rinse and neutralize after a high-alkaline product before any finish is applied.
Floor stripper (finish removal)The job this machine is best at. Pad: BLACK (aggressive strip) at 13 in. Flood, dwell, scrub, then wet-vac the slurry, rinse and neutralize before recoating.
Floor finish / sealerApplied separately by mop or applicator after the strip, never through the machine.
