Product description
The RT980S is a push-powered, no-electricity sweeper with triple brooms covering up to 38,000 sq ft per hour, roughly 5x faster than a conventional broom. A 12.7-gallon onboard waste container empties without mess, and it works on hardwood, concrete, asphalt, tile and marble indoors or outdoors. Note: live site price ($355) is above the distributor price list ($339) -- used current site price.
- Push-powered -- no electricity or batteries required
- Triple brooms cover up to 38,000 sq ft per hour
- 12.7-gallon onboard waste container, easy to empty
- Works indoors and outdoors on hardwood, concrete, asphalt, tile and marble
- Adjustable settings for deeper cleaning on any hard surface
Receiving — do not sign clean
- Count the pieces against the bill of lading before the driver leaves. A machine, its batteries and its accessories can ship as separate items.
- Walk the pallet. Check the shrink-wrap, the crate corners and the machine itself — forks go through crates more often than anyone admits.
- Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.
- Write the damage on the delivery receipt. A clean signature on a damaged pallet is what makes a freight claim hard. Then call 1-866-989-7489 the same day.

Questions, answered
What training is required to run this machine?
Follow the manufacturer operator manual and your workplace's required training and safety procedures before use.
How does freight delivery actually work?
You get tracking and carrier details by email when it leaves the warehouse. A machine that travels on a pallet is delivered by appointment: the carrier phones to book a window. Freight for this machine is a flat rate to the lower 48, shown at checkout before you pay. Full guide: how freight delivery works.
What happens if it arrives damaged?
Write the damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it before the driver leaves, then call us the same day. We file the claim with the carrier, not you.
What warranty does it carry?
The warranty the manufacturer publishes for this model. For a claim, contact us first. We open it with the manufacturer, coordinate parts or service, and stay on it until it is resolved.
Can I return it?
Call us within 30 days of delivery if the machine is not right for your facility and we arrange the return with the manufacturer. It must be unused or in like-new condition with its original packaging. Return freight is paid by the customer, and some manufacturers apply a restocking fee, which we pass through at cost. Full terms.
Will you match a lower price?
Yes, on machines. Send us the listing before you order and we match the same model advertised for less by another US seller. Price match terms.
Can my organization pay by purchase order?
Yes. Purchase orders are accepted, and net terms are reviewed case by case for approved commercial accounts. Use the commercial quote form to tell us your billing process.
Which pads and cleaning products should I use?
Use only verified product references and the manufacturer's compatibility requirements. Contact the equipment desk with your floor type and application before substituting a product.
