Product description

The Ambassador Jr. (C45014-01) is Minuteman's entry self-contained walk-behind carpet extractor for small commercial jobs — offices, healthcare, retail, hospitality. It sprays, agitates with a helical cylindrical brush, and vacuum-recovers in one pass, leaving carpet clean and near-dry. Non-corrosive polyethylene body, three quick-disconnect spray jets, Viton seals, stainless solution strainer, and hospital-grade plugs make it a maintenance-light healthcare-compliant unit. Corded (50 ft), no heater.

Low-foam / defoamer requirement (READ FIRST)This is an extractor with a 1 hp vac motor and a small 6 gal recovery tank — only LOW-FOAM extraction chemistry. Excess foam is pulled into the vacuum motor and destroys it, and fills the small recovery tank fast. Keep a defoamer on hand; dose it into the recovery tank if the detergent foams. Cold-water machine (no heater) — use cold-water-rated detergents.
Carpet extraction detergent (low-foam, cold-water)Pair a Janitori low-foam hot/cold carpet extraction detergent at cold-water dilution for routine deep-clean of cut-pile / commercial carpet. Small 6 gal tank = use concentrates at correct ratio to reduce refills.
Pre-spray / traffic-lane cleanerFor heavier soil, apply a Janitori traffic-lane pre-spray, dwell, then extract with the Ambassador Jr. Improves single-pass soil removal on a 50 psi machine (lower pressure than the X17/Rush).
Carpet rinse / neutralizerFollow detergent with a low-foam acid rinse/neutralizer to prevent resoiling from detergent residue — important on a self-contained unit that leaves carpet near-dry in one pass.
Carpet protector (applied after)An extractor does not lay protector — apply a Janitori fluorochemical carpet protector separately with a pump-up sprayer after cleaning while damp.
