Product description

The X17 (X17115) is Minuteman's mid-size self-contained carpet extractor with a 17" cleaning path and large 9 gal solution / 7.5 gal recovery tanks for fewer refills on bigger commercial jobs. A 2 hp 3-stage vacuum (118" water lift) and single adjustable brush deliver CRI-certified one-pass cleaning; on-board AUX power drives an optional scrub wand / extraction tool for stairs and upholstery. Corded (50 ft), cold-water (no heater). Sold as 50 psi (X17115) or 100 psi (X17115HP), plus larger-tank Plus / Plus HP variants.

Receiving — do not sign clean

Count the pieces against the bill of lading before the driver leaves. A machine, its batteries and its accessories can ship as separate items.
Walk the pallet. Check the shrink-wrap, the crate corners and the machine itself — forks go through crates more often than anyone admits.
Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.
Write the damage on the delivery receipt. A clean signature on a damaged pallet is what makes a freight claim hard. Then call 1-888-287-3732 the same day.

Low-foam / defoamer requirement (READ FIRST)The X17's 2 hp 3-stage vacuum is fast and powerful — foam pulled into it kills the motor. Use LOW-FOAM extraction detergent only; keep defoamer on hand for the 7.5 gal recovery tank. Cold-water machine (no heater): use cold-water-rated chemistry.
Carpet extraction detergent (low-foam)Pair a Janitori low-foam extraction detergent for one-pass CRI-level cleaning of commercial cut-pile/loop carpet. 100 psi (HP) unit lets a stronger detergent penetrate dense glue-down commercial carpet.
Traffic-lane pre-sprayFor lobbies/corridors, a Janitori traffic-lane pre-spray + dwell before the X17 pass lifts ground-in soil the 50/100 psi jets alone won't. Agitate with the adjustable brush.
Acid rinse / neutralizerFinish with a low-foam acid rinse to strip detergent residue and slow resoiling — pairs well with the X17's large 9 gal solution tank for big rinse jobs.
Spotter (via AUX wand)Keep a Janitori general/protein/tannin spotter for the AUX scrub-wand tool on set-in stains, upholstery and stairs the 17" head can't reach.
