Product description
The Ultra D.C. is the burnisher a contractor buys when the building has long, straight runs of VCT and a nightly gloss standard to hit. Its 1.5 HP D/C rectified motor sidesteps the low-voltage startup and burn-out problems that plague A/C burnishers on long extension runs. This 19 in build runs at 1500 RPM — the mid speed tier of the Ultra D.C. family. The balanced all-metal chassis carries a flexible pad holder with a threaded pad-centering device, so pad pressure stays even. Front caster assembly available separately (included standard on 2000 RPM models).
- 1.5 HP D/C rectified motor at 15 amps eliminates burn-outs, low-voltage drop and startup torque problems common to A/C burnishers.
- 1500 RPM pad speed on a 19 in apron — one of three speed tiers (1170/1500/2000 RPM) in the same chassis.
- Balanced all-metal chassis adds weight for a faster, longer-lasting and brighter shine.
- Flexible pad holder with threaded pad-centering device conforms to floor irregularities for even shine and gloss.
- Non-marking full-wrap bumper; 6 in non-marking operating wheels plus separate 4 in transport wheels.
- Front caster assembly available separately (included standard on 2000 RPM models).
- Safety interlock switch with non-conductive dual triggers; fully adjustable 48 in handle.
- One 50 ft 14/3-gauge safety power cord; motor unplugs at the handle base for service. 230-volt version available.
Receiving — do not sign clean
- Count the pieces against the bill of lading before the driver leaves. A machine, its batteries and its accessories can ship as separate items.
- Walk the pallet. Check the shrink-wrap, the crate corners and the machine itself — forks go through crates more often than anyone admits.
- Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.
- Write the damage on the delivery receipt. A clean signature on a damaged pallet is what makes a freight claim hard. Then call 1-888-287-3732 the same day.
