Product description

The Minuteman E17BDQP is a compact 24V battery-powered walk-behind disc auto-scrubber with a 17" cleaning path, 12-gal solution / 13-gal recovery tanks, and a low brush deck for cleaning around and under obstacles. The "Quick Pack" ships ready to run with an on-board smart charger, a 17" pad driver, and two 12V batteries. Made in the USA, it targets hospitality, healthcare, retail, institutional, and BSC accounts needing a maneuverable machine for tight spaces.

Count the pieces against the bill of lading before the driver leaves. A machine, its batteries and its accessories can ship as separate items.
Walk the pallet. Check the shrink-wrap, the crate corners and the machine itself — forks go through crates more often than anyone admits.
Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.

CLEANING PRODUCTS

Neutral cleaner (daily maintenance, pH-neutral)Best everyday match for the E17. Pair with a RED (light spray-buff/clean) or WHITE (polish) 17" pad on the 172517-2 pad driver. Use a LOW-FOAM neutral formula — a compact 12-gal auto-scrubber recovery/vac is foam-sensitive.
Degreaser (medium to heavy duty)Pair with a BLUE (general scrub) pad for medium soil, stepping up to a GREEN (heavy-duty) pad or the 172517-3 Green Nylogrit brush for baked-on grease. MUST be a LOW-FOAM / auto-scrubber-safe degreaser — high-foam degreasers trip the recovery float and can damage the 3/5 HP vac motor. Add defoamer to the recovery tank if foaming.
Stripper (floor-finish removal)Use the GREEN Nylogrit brush (172517-3) or a BLACK/BROWN strip pad. Strippers are high-alkaline and high-foam: run a defoamer in the recovery tank and strip in small sections — a compact 12-gal machine is workable for touch-ups/small rooms but not ideal for large full-strip jobs. LOW-FOAM handling is critical here.
Finish / sealerDo NOT apply floor finish or sealer through the scrubber — it is a scrub-and-recover machine only. Apply finish separately with a mop/applicator after the E17 has scrubbed and dried the floor.
