Product description

The Viper AS5160T is a 20-inch, 24V battery walk-behind disc scrubber-dryer with true traction drive — self-propelled forward and reverse for easy control on ramps and long runs. Twin 16-gallon (61 L) solution and recovery tanks plus up to 2.5 hours of runtime let one operator scrub and dry mid-size hard floors (VCT, sealed concrete, tile) in a single pass. Value-line pricing from Nilfisk with an included pad driver, onboard charger, and a 31" aluminum squeegee recovery system.

Configurations: 56384814 — 130 Ah wet batteries with on-board charger (the configuration supplied); 56384815 — 145 Ah AGM; 56384813 — 105 Ah wet; 50000406 — base machine only without batteries.

Neutral cleaner (low-foam) — daily maintenanceEveryday scrubbing on sealed VCT, tile, and sealed concrete. Pair with a RED pad (light clean) or WHITE pad (polish/burnish). Neutral pH is safe on finished floors and won't dull the coating.
Degreaser (low-foam) — kitchens / shop / greaseCuts oil and grease on quarry tile, kitchen, and industrial floors. Pair with a BLUE pad (general scrub) or GREEN pad (heavier soil). If any foaming shows in the recovery tank, add a defoamer (see low-foam note).
Stripper — finish/wax removalRemoves old floor finish before recoating. Pair with a BLACK pad (most aggressive) on the VF90454 pad driver, or a grit/poly brush (VF90471). Work slow with dwell time. The disc AS5160T strips but is slower than a hi-speed/orbital — the orbital AS5160TO variant is the better stripping tool if finish removal is frequent.
Low-foam / defoamer note (critical for auto-scrubbers)Only LOW-FOAM chemistry belongs in the solution tank — high-foam formulas trip the recovery-tank float shutoff and starve the vacuum motor, leaving floors wet. Keep a defoamer / motor protectant (e.g. MPL-0950-125P) on hand to dose the recovery tank when stripping or running degreaser.
