Product description

The Minuteman E17 (E17115BD) is a compact 17" walk-behind disc auto-scrubber that runs on a standard 115V outlet for unlimited runtime — no batteries to charge or replace. Its 12-gal solution / 13-gal recovery tanks and brush-assist drive scrub up to 12,750 sq ft/hr, while a break-away, no-adjust squeegee makes single-pass cleaning simple in tight spaces. Ships with a 17" pad driver included.

Count the pieces against the bill of lading before the driver leaves. A machine, its batteries and its accessories can ship as separate items.

Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.

CLEANING PRODUCTS

Janitori cleaning products are made in Canada. Confirm product compatibility with this machine before use.

Neutral cleaner + Red or White padDaily maintenance scrubbing on finished/sealed floors (VCT, terrazzo, sealed concrete, LVT). Use a neutral-pH floor cleaner at auto-scrubber dilution with a WHITE (polish/very light) or RED (light daily scrub) 17" pad. Safe on floor finish, won't dull the shine. Low-foam / auto-scrubber-safe formula required.
Degreaser + Blue-to-Green pad (LOW-FOAM CRITICAL)Medium-to-heavy soil — kitchens, warehouses, industrial, break rooms. Pair a degreaser with a BLUE pad (general/medium) up to a GREEN pad (heavy-duty). MUST be a low-foam degreaser or add a defoamer: this machine recovers dirty solution through a vacuum, and excess foam overflows the recovery tank, trips the screened-float shut-off, and can damage the vacuum motor. Minuteman's own manual lists 'excessive foaming' as a cause of the vacuum motor not running — remedy: use less/change chemical, use defoaming agent.
Stripper + Black pad (or Brown for heavy build)Floor-finish/wax removal before recoat. Pair a finish stripper with a BLACK 17" strip pad (BROWN for heavy multi-coat build-up). Run slow, deliberate double-passes at the fixed 180 RPM; strippers foam heavily, so use a low-foam stripper or defoamer to protect the vacuum. Neutralize/rinse the floor before applying new finish. At 180 RPM disc this handles light-to-moderate strips; heavy build-up may need multiple passes.
Floor finish / sealer — apply SEPARATELY (not by this machine)An auto-scrubber preps, scrubs, and strips the floor — it does NOT lay down finish. After scrubbing/stripping and rinsing with the E17, apply Janitori floor finish/sealer separately with a finish applicator or flat mop. Never run floor finish through the solution tank.
