Product description

The Viper AS510B is a compact 20" cordless walk-behind disc scrubber built for tight, congested spaces — retail, healthcare, schools, small warehouses. Its pad-assist drive uses the spinning brush/pad to pull the machine forward (no separate transmission), while dual 10.5-gal tanks and 2× 105Ah AGM batteries deliver up to ~3 hours of runtime and ~47,000 sq ft per charge. SKU 50000243 ships with a 20" scrub brush; SKU 56384775 ships with a pad driver instead. Viper is Nilfisk's value-tier commercial line.

Neutral cleaner (daily, pH-neutral, no-rinse)Everyday maintenance scrubbing on sealed/finished floors. Pair with a RED pad (light) or BLUE pad (general). Must be a LOW-FOAM / auto-scrubber-safe dilution — high foam floods the 40 L recovery tank and can reach the 350 W vac motor.
Degreaser (heavy-duty / industrial)Grease, tire marks, ground-in soil on concrete/VCT. Pair with BLUE (medium) to GREEN (aggressive) pad. Use a LOW-FOAM auto-scrubber degreaser specifically — standard foaming degreasers are not compatible with recovery/vac systems. Rinse pass with neutral if floor is to be re-finished.
Floor finish stripperRemoving old wax/finish before recoat. Pair with a BLACK stripping pad (brown for very heavy build-up). Run slow, keep the floor wet with stripper dwell. Strippers foam — add a defoamer to the recovery tank and expect to also wet-vac/rinse; the AS510B's 40 L recovery + 350 W vac will handle small-area strips, not full building strip-outs.
Floor finish / sealer (NOT machine-applied)The AS510B does not apply finish — it preps the floor. Workflow: strip (black pad) → neutralize/rinse (neutral cleaner, red/blue pad) → let dry → apply finish with a flat mop/finish applicator. Never put finish in the solution tank.
Universal low-foam ruleAcross ALL chemistries, use LOW-FOAM formulations on this machine. Foam control (defoamer in the recovery tank) is mandatory when stripping and recommended on heavy degreasing to protect the vacuum motor and prevent premature float shut-off.
