The Viper AS430C is a 17-inch corded-electric walk-behind disc scrubber built for mid-size, high-traffic floors — retail, schools, healthcare, and light industrial. Its 65 ft safety-yellow power cord delivers unlimited run time with no batteries to charge, paired with 13/13-gallon solution/recovery tanks and a 12,739 ft²/hr ISSA productivity rate that cleans roughly 5x faster than a mop and bucket. A budget-friendly Nilfisk value-line machine, still in current production and Made in USA.

Neutral cleaner (low-foam) — daily maintenanceFor routine cleaning of sealed/finished floors, VCT and tile at neutral pH. Run with the OEM 17" nylon brush (VF90411) for textured floors, or a red pad (light daily soil) / blue pad (general scrubbing) on the VF90453 pad driver. Dilute per label.
Degreaser (alkaline, low-foam) — heavy soilFor kitchens, break rooms and light-industrial grease. MUST be low-foam / auto-scrubber-rated. Pair with a blue pad (general) or green pad (aggressive scrub) on the pad driver. Add a defoamer to the recovery tank if the chemical foams.
Stripper (high-alkaline finish/wax remover)Requires the VF90453 pad driver + a black stripping pad (brown for heavy finish build-up). Strippers foam heavily by nature — dilute correctly, work in small sections, and add a defoamer / vac-motor protectant to the recovery tank to protect the vacuum motor.
Floor finish / sealer — NOT scrubber-appliedThe AS430C does not lay down finish. It preps the floor (strip → neutral-cleaner rinse); finish/wax/sealer is then applied by mop or applicator by hand. Pair the scrubber with the strip + rinse step of a finish cycle, not the coating step.
Low-foam rule (critical for all chemistry)Auto scrubbers must run low-foam chemistry — excess foam fills the recovery tank and can damage the vacuum motor. Keep a defoamer / vacuum-motor protectant on hand, especially when stripping, and avoid consumer high-foam cleaners.
