Product description

The Tornado Surge 500 (TE310-G15-U) is a premium heated portable carpet extractor for restoration, hotels, offices and schools that need maximum extraction and fast drying. Dual 15-gallon solution/recovery tanks, a wet-pickup 'Airwatt' vacuum with electronic float shutoff, adjustable 50-500 psi spray pressure and a 1,700-1,750 W in-line heater that brings solution to ~190°F combine for deep hot-water extraction. A clamshell body and rear service panel open fast to the pump, vac and heater.

Low-foam requirement (READ FIRST)A carpet extractor pulls dirty solution back through the vacuum motor — only LOW-FOAM carpet-extraction chemistry may be used. Foam builds in the recovery tank and can be pulled into the vac motor, damaging it and killing water recovery. If any chemistry foams, dose a commercial defoamer concentrate into the recovery tank per its label. Always dilute per label into the 15 gal solution tank.
Low-foam carpet-extraction detergent (primary)Pair a Janitori LOW-FOAM carpet-extraction detergent as the everyday deep-clean chemistry for hotels, offices, schools and restoration work. Meter into the 15 gal solution tank at label dilution.
Heat pairingThis unit heats solution (~190°F hot-water), which boosts detergent activity on grease/oily soils — still use only low-foam, heat-stable extraction chemistry.
Pre-spray / traffic-lane cleanerPre-spray heavy soil and traffic lanes with a Janitori alkaline traffic-lane pre-spray, dwell, then extract. Speeds soil release and cuts passes.
Defoamer (protects the vac motor — READ FIRST)Keep a Janitori/compatible defoamer on hand; dose the recovery tank if foam appears to protect the wet-pickup vacuum motor.
Carpet protector (finishing pass)Apply a Janitori fluorochemical carpet protector as a separate finishing pass after extraction to extend soil resistance between cleans.
