Product description

The Tornado BD 20/11L is a compact 20" disk-style walk-behind auto scrubber that scrubs and dries an 11-gallon-solution/12-gallon-recovery load in a single pass, fitting through standard doorways at under 70 dB. This TS120-S45-UC configuration ships with two 24V lead-acid batteries, an on-board charger, and a 20" pad driver — brush-assist means the scrub motor pulls the machine forward while the operator steers. 48.5 lbs of down pressure and 155 RPM of agitation deliver up to ~17,500 sq ft/hr of cleaning on tile, VCT, concrete, and rubber floors.

CLEANING PRODUCTS

Janitori cleaning products are made in Canada. Confirm product compatibility with this machine before use.

Neutral Cleaner (daily maintenance) — pair: RED or WHITE pad (light), BLUE for general soilEveryday tile/VCT/concrete maintenance. MUST be an auto-scrubber / low-foam neutral cleaner diluted to scrubber ratio. Red = light daily scrub or spray-buff; White = polish; Blue = general/medium soil. Low-foam is mandatory (see note).
Degreaser (kitchen / industrial soil) — pair: BLUE or GREEN padFor grease and heavy soil load. Use a LOW-FOAM degreaser only; Green pad for heavy-duty aggression, Blue for medium. If any foaming appears, add defoamer to the recovery tank to protect the vacuum motor.
Stripper (floor finish / wax removal) — pair: BLACK pad (or Titan/brown for heavy build)High-alkaline strippers are typically HIGH-FOAM — always run defoamer in the 12-gal recovery tank and fit the oil-resistant rear squeegee (48405030). This 20" auto-scrubber can strip, but pass slowly; for large strip jobs a dedicated wet pickup is faster. Neutralize/rinse before re-finishing.
Floor Finish / Sealer — NOT applied by this machineFinish is laid down by mop/flat applicator after stripping, not through the scrubber. Once cured, gloss is maintained with a WHITE pad on a burnisher (separate machine), not on the BD 20/11L.
LOW-FOAM RULE (all chemistry)The BD 20/11L recovers dirty solution through a vacuum + 12-gal recovery tank with a float shutoff. High-foaming chemistry overflows the tank, trips the float (killing suction), and can damage the vacuum motor. Use only low-foam / auto-scrubber-rated Janitori chemistry and keep defoamer on hand for strippers and degreasers.
