Product description

The Tornado BR 22/14T is a 22-inch traction-drive cylindrical walk-behind auto scrubber built for tile, grout, and textured hard floors where a disc/pad machine can't reach into the surface. Twin cylindrical brushes deliver 4–6x the contact pressure of rotary scrubbers while using up to 30% less solution, cleaning up to 22,000 sq ft/hr at a LEED-qualifying 67 dB(A). Ships with a roto-molded polyethylene body backed by a 10-year tank/body warranty, on-board charger, and two 12V batteries.

Photograph any damage before you sign. Once the driver has your signature the photographs are worth much less.

CLEANING PRODUCTS

Neutral cleaner (daily maintenance)Best everyday pairing. Run with the INCLUDED White Soft-Scrub brush (K57622970). On a cylindrical deck pad color does NOT apply — 'white/red pad' equivalent = the soft brush. Use a low-foam neutral floor cleaner (auto-scrubber-safe) diluted per label; no defoamer normally needed.
Degreaser (heavy soil / kitchens / industrial)Pair with the Medium (K57623480) or Hard-Grit (K57622990) brush for more bite (equivalent to blue/green pad aggression). MUST use a LOW-FOAM degreaser and add defoamer to the recovery tank — high-foam degreasers flood and can damage the 0.6 HP vacuum motor. Cylindrical action pulls degreaser into grout/texture better than a disc pad.
Stripper (floor-finish removal)Generally NOT recommended on this cylindrical machine — full finish stripping is a black-pad/swing-machine job. Strippers are high-foam and aggressive; a cylindrical deck can't apply flat black-pad stripping pressure. If used on textured/non-slip floors, run the Hard-Grit brush (K57622990) with heavy defoamer, dwell time, and expect touch-up. For VCT finish removal use a low-speed disc/swing machine with black pads instead.
Finish / sealer (floor finish application)Not applied by this machine — N/A. Floor finish/sealer goes down with a finish applicator or microfiber flat mop, not the scrubber. Keep finish chemistry out of the solution tank.
Low-foam note (all chemistry)This is an auto scrubber — always use LOW-FOAM formulations. Foam carries into the recovery tank and can reach/damage the vacuum motor. For any degreaser or stripper application, dose a commercial low-foam defoamer concentrate into the recovery tank per its label as a standing rule.
